Pat Sajak beat a contestant — but not at the game.
In a bizarre incident Tuesday, “Wheel of Fortune” host Sajak jokingly put a contestant named Fred Jackson in a chokehold after he played a perfect game.
Jackson had told Sajak that he’s a professional wrestler who does the sport “for fun.”
He’s also a drama teacher, bar trivia host — and a “Wheel of Fortune” winner on the Hawaii-themed episode.
In a clip posted on the game show’s Instagram, Jackson solves the puzzle phrase “His mind is wandering” for an additional $40,000 — making his grand total $75,800.
Jackson is overcome with emotion from his massive win, hugs someone else onstage and then is tackled by the 76-year-old host.
Fans of the show were quick to comment on the awkward moment.
“Not only another Perfect Game, but another showdown with Pat vs. another contestant,” laughed one person.
“What was with Pat at the end,” questioned another.
“Don’t fall Pat,” said a third person.
“I would never wrestle a contestant like Sajak was doing if I was host of Wheel of Fortune I do handshakes literally,” slammed a fourth person.
Other viewers found the exchange entertaining.
“That was a good one!! The end was so funny,” laughed one viewer.
“It was fun to watch,” said a second viewer.
The Post reached out to Sajak for comment.
This is not the first time the host has made contestants feel uncomfortable on the show.
On a recent episode, Sajak made fun of a person’s fear of fish by bringing out a toy swimmer and handing it to another contestant, causing the scared woman to hide her face in her hands.
And a week before that, Sajak found himself in another hairy situation with fans when he pulled a man’s beard.
